Academic funding for journalism
September 12, 2010
Friend Monica Campbell has a nice piece in Nieman Reports, a site of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard where Campbell was a fellow last year, about our respective experiences finding funding through university research centers. She describes her own work with the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and trips to Juárez, Mexico earlier this summer. And she mentions my opportunity to travel to China in July through the excellent Center of a Livable Future at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Kudos, Monica.
